Directions from Glossop

  • Take the A626 from Glossop towards Stockport.

  • After nine miles you descend into Marple Bridge where there are traffic lights (see photo).

  • Keep to the right following the main road towards Stockport, over the River Goyt, past the Midland on the left and up a steep hill.

  • At the top of the hill, after half a mile, turn left into Hollins Lane (see car turning left in photo). This junction is easy to miss, so look for the street sign at the centre of the photo.

  • Turn right at the traffic lights at the end of Hollins Lane and then immediately left at a second set of lights (see photo).

  • After 100 yards, turn left at a mini roundabout into Church Lane (see photo).

  • Continue up Church Lane, past All Saints’ School (left of photo) and the Associate Vicar’s house.

  • Continue up to the top of the hill, where you will find All Saints’ Church on the left.

  • Turn left into the car park noticing the variety of car paint that generous visitors have left on the bollard at the entrance.
