Directions from Macclesfield

• Take the A523 north to Hazel Grove traffic lights

• Turn right along the A6 towards Buxton

• After two miles, as you enter the High Lane 30 mph restricted area, you see a sign on the left towards Marple (see photo)

• Turn left just in front of the Horse Shoe towards Marple

• After 1½ miles, on the right is a green (called Hawk Green)

• Turn right just in front of the Crown at the far end of the green (yellow building, centre of photo)

• After 400 yards, turn left towards Marple pausing to admire the view as you turn the corner (see photo)

• After 800 yards, you will see All Saints’ Church on the right-hand side

• Turn right into the car park noticing the variety of car paint that generous visitors have left on the bollard at the entrance
