Services at All Saints'

Sunday services are changing. From 31 January 2010 onwards, two morning services will be held in addition to the 8 am Holy Communion (1662 Prayer Book) service.

January 2010

*
8.00 am

Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)

*
10.30 am

Parish Communion / Morning Worship / All-age Service

*
7.30 pm
(see note)

Evening Worship / Holy Communion / Guest Service / Celebration

*

The services at 10.30 am and 7.30 pm are open worship following the pattern of the Book of Common Worship. Musical Praise is usually led by a worship group, and there are times of openness to the Holy Spirit, and opportunity for ministry after the services.

Note: We have been holding the evening service at 7.30 pm since the beginning of May 2009 and this will continue in January. At the end of January, however, we will revert back to the more normal time of 6.30 pm for the evening service.

31 January 2010 onwards

*
8.00 am

Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)

*
9.15 am

Parish Communion / Morning Worship / All-age Service

Evening Worship / Holy Communion / Guest Service / Celebration

The two main services at 9.15 am and 11.15 am in the morning will essentially be the same type of service. Coffee and tea will be served in the Church Lounge between the two services from 10.30 am to 11.15 am.

Facilities for children (Kids’ Church and crèche, up to 11’s) will be available during both services but the formats may differ slightly. The Pathfinders (11’s to 14’s) will be catered for during both services but their main activity will be on Sunday afternoons from 4.30 pm to 6 pm, when they will have their own event for worship, teaching and activity.

CYFA (14’s to 18’s) will meet after the evening service at 8 pm.
